million new roles may emerge that are more adapted to the new division of labour between humans, machines and algorithms.
Amid the headlines that are exclaiming the loss of jobs due to automation
and other disruptive changes brought by Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Machine Learning, emergence of new jobs and skillsets are clear.
With automation being the norm, we are weaving in vast amounts of data. Organizations across industry sectors are going to require more and more number of Data Scientists
to interpret large datasets and generate business answers. These data scientists will don the investigative hat and look at the data that Internet of Things (IOT)
generate and uncover newer sources of data, mix, compare and analyse data sets and write reports and present their findings to the company. These "detectives"
will provide businesses data-driven insights on increasing companies' bottom line and top line.
